Job Summary

We are currently seeking multiple enthusiastic candidates to join the Designer/Drafting department. Qualified candidates are well-organized, able to multi-task, and passionate about exterior building skin design and fabrication. Designer / Drafting position focuses on design and drafting of exterior facade panels. This position is perfect for a committed and experienced individual seeking long-term growth with a company known for taking on challenging iconic architectural projects.

 
Experience: 0–2 Years
 
Profile: Entry-level professional, often a recent graduate or individual with moderate design experience.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Moderate level user of Rhinoceros 3D software.
• Have working knowledge of reading construction drawings and construction details.
• Beginner knowledge of as-built conditions coordination with fabrication.
• Shop drawing preparation for entry level to intermediate level complexity cladding projects.
• Assist Designers II and Designers III with material takeoffs using internal scripting and automation tools within Rhinoceros 3D software.
• Assist Designers II and Designers III with panel fabrication design using internal scripting and automation tools within Rhinoceros 3D software.

Development Focus:

• Continue generating working experience in reading construction drawings and construction details.
• Gain familiarity with cladding details and best practices in construction principles.
• Develop working knowledge of Rhinoceros 3D software.
